Madrelingua Italian School was founded in 2005 by Stefi and Daniel, an Italian/English couple of language teachers, and quickly gained a reputation as one of the best places to learn to actually speak Italian!

Stefi: organises Italian courses and accommodation
Stefi – co-owner of Madrelingua, Registrar for Italian courses, and the Accommodation Officer, which means that she organises the classes, books accommodation, answers e-mails, and generally makes sure students are looked after! If you need information, or have a problem, Stefi will help you!
Daniel: Director of Studies, marketing and management.
Daniel – co-owner of Madrelingua, Director of Studies and the shadowy figure behind the marketing and other “business” aspects! Not being a native-speaker of Italian, he doesn’t teach.
Paola: senior Italian teacher
Paola – a full-time Italian teacher with more years of teaching experience than she cares to mention, Paola is a valued all-rounder who delights her students, whoever they are and whatever needs they have. Her tours of Bologna, as part of our social events program, are famous!
Giulia started her career at Madrelingua
Giulia – a full-time Italian teacher who began her career at our school and has since learnt everything we have to teach about delivering high quality Italian language courses.
